I've been working at Pink Pantaloon for a couple of months now and I'm loving it, but it wasn't until last Friday when I attended my first photo-shoot that I realised how much fun it's going to be! We were mostly doing product shots for our new Vintage clothing... some of which is available on our eBay page and the rest will be available on our website soon - so keep your eyes peeled!
We decided to take a mixture of shots all around our lovely Cotes Mill home including the amazing cottages that are also owned by the Mill which made the perfect setting for a real unique shoot! We cannot wait to show you all the finished shots, they look great! It was so much fun getting involved with the outfits and watching Tim and Helen create the perfect setting then start snapping away!
We started off in the Mill House where all of our lovely Pink Pantaloons are made, we shot photos in front of the huge window that looks out onto the Mill pond - it's so beautiful! Next we moved into the basement where all of deVOL’s lovely antique furniture is kept, it’s like a treasure trove under there - always full of old gems! This made the perfect backdrop for some more shots featuring a lovely old wicker chair and some super cute outfits!
Taking a break for a much needed cup of tea and biscuits, we then headed over to the cottages. This was the perfect setting to create some edgy photos of our vintage clothing. The cottage is empty and most of the walls are stripped back to plaster…but this is what makes it so cool (trust me)! In one of the bedrooms they have an amazing aqua blue wall that contrasts our lovely pink vintage clothing perfectly. Along with a yellow (yes yellow!) vintage kitchen, the cottage was the perfect setting for a great photo-shoot.
